WHO WE ARE
Miller Ranch Products LLC is a family-owned business based out of Round Mountain, Nevada. We specialize in the creation of goat milk lotions, creams, soaps, and cheeses.
The company was inspired by Else Fietze, grandmother of the company's owner, who spent 40 years creating natural creams and help women rediscover their inner beauty.
Long ago, in a land far away (4,282 miles, to be exact), a young lady named Else started her own beauty business in Germany. She had successfully finished cosmetology school and set out to empower women through building self-esteem and personalized care. She specialized in skin care, using only the natural cream she made herself and focusing on the woman's face. Many women came through her doors and found a caring Else listening to life's problems and supporting her clients through life's ups and downs. Over the years, her cream became well-known. She used only natural ingredients and her cream healed the driest skin and nourished the aging skin, giving it back its glow and elasticity.
On her 80th birthday, all Else talked about was how appreciative the women she met have been of her services. She found peace and happiness in the idea that she had helped so many. Else passed away only 3 months after her 80th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, caring, and natural beauty. The recipe for her cream died with her, leaving many to search for a substitute.
Sonja Miller, granddaughter of Else, has made a living in educating students by being a teacher and principal in rural Nevada. Yet, for the past 10 years, there seemed to be a restlessness, exploring other options in life. The ideas of helping others discover their own natural beauty and empowering women through compassion and friendship, have nagged at her continuously. Yet, due to working a full-time job in the education field, the options of becoming a massage therapist or yoga instructor were just not feasible.
In 2017, a journey of studying herbalism and aromatherapy began. Interrupted by life's happenings, the journey finally will culminate in receiving a Master's Degree in Complementary Alternative Medicine from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in June of 2021. During her studies, Sonja found herself being drawn to using the knowledge of holistic healing to create lotions and creams.
